Brand
The Inter Emirates Properties logo was designed by the renowned architectural firm John R Harris & Partners, the creators behind Dubai’s first Trade Centre Tower.
The tower’s design was commissioned by H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, father of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and it holds a place of significance, even appearing on the 100 AED note to honour its impact.

Balu Nayar brings over 30 years of experience, having worked across three continents and 11 industry sectors. He has successfully built two multi-billion-dollar businesses from the ground up—one being the IPL and the other a mobile Internet company. As Regional Director APAC of Yahoo Mobile, Balu was instrumental in the $1 billion investment in Alibaba and the sale of Yahoo China, along with leading several acquisitions in the region.
He co-founded a venture capital fund, a fintech venture, and a sports company, while remaining active in investment banking, focusing on the technology and energy sectors. Over the years, he has mentored, worked with, and invested in more than 180 start-ups in India, ASEAN, and Silicon Valley. He also advised a $270 million Indian IT services company, helping it grow into a global leader in automotive embedded software, now valued at over $5 billion.
Balu holds a B.Tech (Hons.) from IIT Kharagpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. He also founded the world’s largest Internet community for blood donation, which has over 1 million members and was highlighted in the Mary Meeker Internet Trends Report.
